Technical Control During Construction-Phase

In-process technical control is an inspection service that aims to provide field monitoring aimed at verifying the work’s compliance with the criteria of good workmanship required by the relevant regulations. The objective of technical control during construction is to reduce risks related to non-compliance, material supply and the way the work is carried out; ensuring the quality of construction. Technical inspection counts as evidence for the purpose of insurability by ten-year posthumous policy covering damage and defects (according to the provisions of Law 210/04 and Legislative Decree 122/05).

ASACERT, at the bid formulation stage, prepares a specific and customized Inspection Plan based on the characteristics of the individual project, which is followed during all phases, from design to construction of the work, through site visits agreed with the client.

In addition to on-site testing, some testing can be done within laboratories to better assess the quality, strength and soundness of the building materials used (rock, concrete, mortar, brick, steel, plaster and polymers). Clients are constantly updated on the stages of control and receive systematic reports:

  1. Design and document inspection report
  2. Inspection reports
  3. Interim inspection reports
  4. Final inspection report

At the end of the verification period, if successful, ASACERT delivers the inspection certificate to the client together with the final report.
